Customer Review: Hope

I like this book, it gives alot of hope and optimisim to ones life.

It helped me look at myself in a different way, positivte for sure.

The life stories or other people's experiences mentioned in the book many people can relate to, including myself. Very well written, I almost spent a whole weekend on it. I just have one comment regarding the medetitation part mentioned I hoped it was more elaborated because I believe it is very important to practice meditation in this stressfull life of ours.

Overall this is a very good book. I recommend it to all.

Dating from the Inside Out: How to Use the Law of Attraction in Matters of the Heart

Dating from the Inside Out: How to Use the Law of Attraction in Matters of the Heart
Dr. Sherman's methods have worked for her clients and even herself. Now with her help, find the perfect match for you!

Each of us deserves to love and be loved in return. How can you find real, deep, and lasting love in a world that appears so superficial? Rather than looking at the world of dating like an obstacle course to be conquered, Dr. Paulette Kouffman Sherman shows that it can become an enlightening journey toward love that begins from within. By examining past experiences, understanding family dynamics, and exploring the place of spiritual connection in the dating world, Dr. Sherman illuminates the path to self-awareness -- the path that leads to the kind of real love you have been searching for. Finding your dating style and the set of beliefs you hold about your self-worth liberates you from just spinning your wheels and repeating mistakes. Dr. Sherman shows how we can become the partner we wish to attract, and asserts that anyone can learn how to truly let go of their past, embrace the present, and use the Law of Attraction to draw in a partner who is perfect for who you are -- without pretending to be someone you're not.

Customer Review: Healthy Advice for a Healthy Relationship

Dating from the Inside Out, by Paulette Kouffman Sherman, is all about making sure YOU are ready to date before you head out there and attempt it. Its core message is that you need to be at least reasonably happy and content with yourself if you're going to have dates work out well.

Think of it in this way. If you went out on a date with someone and they were mopey, grumpy and self-bashing all evening long, you probably wouldn't want to go on a second date with them, right? If on the other hand they were happy, fun to talk with and friendly to people around them, you would be quite interested in a second date. This is true for pretty much everybody. We want to be with people who are happy. So in order to succeed on dates (and in life!!) we need to be happy. That doesn't mean we have to find someone TO make us happy. Rather, we need to BE happy and then we will find someone who will enjoy sharing that happy life.

So Paulette's book goes step by step about how to build up your self esteem and escape from bad habits which have made you unhappy in the past. She suggests you start journalling, to keep track of your progress and watch out for problems. Programming that you've built up for years can be very hard to change - but it CAN be done. If your family teased you for your entire childhood about being heavy, it can be very hard to accept yourself as an adult. It really can be done though.

She brings up many good points that are important to take to heart. For example, if you rant to your friends all the time that men are all losers, you probably will end up dating losers. It's the way the human brain works. Bikers tell you all the time that if you stare at a wall as you go around the curve, focusing on it and worrying about hitting it, you are likely to hit it. What you focus on is what you tend to go towards. If on the other hand you focus on the road ahead, and focus on following the road, that is where you tend to go. Rather than concentrating on the negative, and complaining / focusing on the negative, you have to focus on what you want. Build up friends who have happy relationships, talk about happy relationships, and get into situations where happy people are. You will then find yourself in a happy relationship!

It's not easy, if you've gotten into the habit of bashing others or ending up with negative people. Paulette talks about an experiment where rats were put into a sealed cage and then cheese was shown to them. The rats kept jumping for the cheese but could not get to it. They finally gave up. Later even when they were out of the cage, they would not jump for the cheese. They had gotten too frustrated. Humans are like this too - they will give up after a while. Don't give up. Reset your mind to be positive, and focus on that.

Paulette points out that people dedicate a lot of time, money and energy to finding a job. They perfect their resume, spend months searching for the job and make sure they have made the right decision. But then these people might put no effort at all into finding a mate - they just want someone to "appear". Finding a great mate is far more important than finding a job. Put the same effort into researching your own needs and desires, making yourself as happy as possible, finding peace in your own world and then putting yourself into situations where people with common interests will be.

The key again is that you need to BE happy, honestly, for this to work. Yes, we all have issues that we want to work on. We want to be thinner or a better cook or whatever. You can't expect your partner to "fix" you, to validate you, to fix your problems. It is important for you to work on being happy with you and being the best you that you can be. You want to have positive, encouraging friends around you - but you also want to be happy being on your own too. Both are very important to being well rounded.

I like the idea of creating a "marriage ceremony" for yourself - to dedicate yourself to taking good care of yourself. We have many ceremonies in life - graduating from school, getting married, having a baby - but we don't have a ceremony really for "being an adult" and resolving to take good care of yourself. We really should. This is one of the most important things any person can do. It is really hard to care properly for others if you're not taking good care of yourself in the first place.

So with all of this great advice, are there any issues in the book? I did find a few things that struck me as odd. Pauline wants you to call up your exs and rant or yell or talk to them, to clear your mind. That seems REALLY unfair to me. Write them a letter maybe - that way they can open it or not. I don't think it's fair or healthy to force another human being to sit there and listen to your anger or sadness or whatever just because you feel like venting.

The book is very heavily leant towards women reading it. It does occasionally talk about men, but most of the examples are women, most of the references are about women. The family section talks about relating to dad - not to mom.

The book likes to drive you to therapy (or to signing up for her online classes). In one example there is a series of questions along the lines of "any man would be lucky to have me!" If you cannot say YES to 8 out of 10 of these questions, you should look into therapy. I don't think so! I don't *agree* that any man would be lucky to have a given woman. I think that for each person there is a *group* of partners that would work really well - but there is also a group of partners who would NOT work well.

Plus, in the dating in midlife section, it says a key benefit is that you "always wanted to be Mrs. Robinson". What?

Still, the core message here is very meaningful. Dating isn't about tricking another person into liking you. It is about being honestly content with what you are, and drawing in - naturally - people who want to be with you. I have really seen this approach work with so many of my friends. It works. It can be hard, yes! Many of us have self esteem issues. But if you take the time and energy to work on them, you will find that wonderful dating partners will follow quite naturally.

Customer Review: A really good book on dating.

This book takes a more practical dating approach in that it really defines what to look for, what not to look for but then, also, what's going on inside you. It was an easy read and easy to understand. It will definetly help on all matters related to dating. I would also suggest another good book on dating--Dating Sense: The Practical Way to Meet, Date and Marry the Right Person.

Becoming Cinderella: A Single Mother's Journey From Tatters to Triumph using "The Secret" of the Law of Attraction

Becoming Cinderella: A Single Mother's Journey From Tatters to Triumph using "The Secret" of the Law of Attraction
Customer Review: Becoming Certifiable

The book was nothing at all like I thought it would be. I was expecting a book about spiritual principals and applying them. By the time the book finally began to discuss the subject matter - somewhere around page 200, when she began her online dating encounters, I had lost all respect for the author and wasn't sure I could buy anything she had to say anymore. The first 200 pages of the book was devoted to the bitter account of the author's divorce and custody battle. The point of the book seemed to be little more than revenge on her ex-husband and his attorney because the courts awarded him custody of their children. I kept wondering when the laws of attraction would show up, as the author continuously attracted the exact opposite of everything she ever wanted - and the more the story progressed, the harder I found it to sympathize with her. The book gives a graphic, uncomfortably detailed, blow by blow description of an incredibly messy divorce and custody battle right down to the verbiage in the court papers. It is so detailed the reader feels like a voyeur watching a private family drama that they have no business seeing. (Sadly, that voyeuristic feeling only intensifies when she shares all of her private email correspondence with the man who became her second husband.) I was left with the belief that the only way her first marriage would have survived was if her husband had agreed with every decision she made about how to raise their children, never offered a differing opinion, and never questioned her choices - no matter how detrimental to the children he believed they were. Yet she tells the whole story from the point of view of a martyred mother wronged by her ex-husband, the courts, attorneys, and society at large. The entire first half of the book offers not one word about the laws of attraction, any spiritual message, or even an uplifting sentence. If you are looking for spiritual guidance, stick with Deepak Chopra - Cheryl Steinberg still has a lot of evolving to do.

Automatic Wealth III: The Attractor Factor - Including:The Power of Your Subconscious Mind, How to Attract Money by Joseph Murphy,The Law of Attraction AND Feeling Is The Secret The Power of Your Subconscious Mind by Dr. Joseph Murphy I have seen miracles happen to men and women in all walks of life all over the world. Miracles will happen to you, too-when you begin using the magic power of your subconscious mind. This book is designed to teach you that your habitual thinking and imagery mold, fashion, and create your destiny; for as a man thinketh in his subconscious mind, so is he. Why is one man sad and another man happy? Why is one man joyous and prosperous and another man poor and miserable? Why is one man fearful and anxious and another full of faith and confidence? Why does one man have a beautiful, luxurious home while another man lives out a meager existence in a slum? Why is one man a great success and another an abject failure? Why is one speaker outstanding and immensely popular and another mediocre and unpopular? Why is one man a genius in his work or profession while the other man toils and moils all his life without doing or accomplishing anything worthwhile? Why is one man healed of a so-called incurable disease and another isn't? Why is it so many good, kind religious people suffer the tortures of the damned in their mind and body? Why is it many immoral and irreligious people succeed and prosper and enjoy radiant health? Why is one woman happily married and her sister very unhappy and frustrated? Is there an answer to these questions in the workings of your conscious and subconscious minds? There most certainly is. It is for the express purpose of answering and clarifying the above questions and many others of a similar nature that motivated me to write this book. How to Attract Money by Dr. Joseph Murphy It is your right to be rich. You are here to lead the abundant life, and to be happy, radiant, and free. You should, therefore, have all the money you need to lead a full, happy, prosperous life. There is no virtue in poverty; the latter is a mental disease, and it should be abolished from the face of the earth. You are here to grow, expand, and unfold - spiritually, mentally, and materially. You have the inalienable right to fully develop and express yourself along all lines. You should surround yourself with beauty and luxury. Thought Vibration or the Law of Attraction in the Thought World by William Walker Atkinson In this New Thought classic, Atkinson looks at the law of attraction in the thought world. He points out the similarities between the law of gravitation and the mental law of attraction. He explains that thought vibrations are as real as those manifesting as light, heat, magnetism and electricity. The difference is in the vibratory rate which also explains the fact that thought vibrations cannot usually be perceived by our 5 senses. Feeling Is The Secret by Neville THIS book is concerned with the art of realizing your desire. It gives you an account of the mechanism used in the production of the visible world. It is a small book but not slight. There is a treasure in it, a clearly defined road to the realization of your dreams.

The Law of Attraction: or Thought Vibration in the Thought World
William Walker Atkinson was an influential member of the New Thought movement. He was one of the first people to write about the Law of Attraction. Long before Rhonda Byrne discovered the secret that one's positive thoughts are powerful magnets that attract wealth, health, and happiness, Atkinson already knew it.

And how can she possibly choose, when she feels one way as She-Hulk, and another as Jen Walters? Collects She-Hulk #6-13.

Customer Review: great fun.

she-hulk has been a favorite of mine since Byrne's Sensational She-Hulk. While this one is not as off the wall surrealistically funny as that series it is more realistically funny, if you can use that word about a comic book about a super strong green woman

Customer Review: Another Good She-Hulk Volume

Dan Slott continues his excellent work on "She-Hulk" in "She-Hulk, Volume 4: Laws of Attraction." His comedic work on "She-Hulk" defines how the traditional superhero graphic novel for adults should be written.

While "She-Hulk, Volume 4" is somewhat bogged down by having to tie in with the "Civil War" storyline that Marvel Comics had going on during 2006, it still rises above the average thanks to Slott's strong work. Greg Horn continues as the cover artist for the original magazines and continues demonstrating why he is one of the best graphic novel artists in the business.

"She-Hulk" is one of the few stories--graphic novel or otherwise--that is so well written that I can read it more than once. Like the first three volumes of "She-Hulk," I recommend "She-Hulk, Volume 4: Laws of Attraction" to all adults--comic book / superhero aficionados and otherwise.

Burying the Secret: The Road to Ruin Is Paved with Books about the Law of Attraction

Burying the Secret: The Road to Ruin Is Paved with Books about the Law of Attraction
Feverish compliance with the law of attraction in the 1980s left the author dead broke for 17 years and in a wheelchair by 2002, due to unanticipated medical conditions.

When Rhonda Byrne's The Secret muscled its way into the media in early 2007, the author's unpleasant memories morphed into a pressing need to complete the book she started during her perilous law-of-attraction period. Over a 10-year span, the author had read 300+ metaphysical books that inadvertently challenged The Secret's core message: Just focus on what you want and it will quickly manifest.

Burying The Secret was primarily inspired by Eastern thought, mysticism, and psychological matters as they relate to spirituality. The author learned about other elements at work, such as the laws governing cause and effect, transition, and suffering. She also discovered key influences on our soul's development, such as learning lessons, voluntary acts of redemption, sacrifice, and free will.

Burying The Secret indicts The Secret for its refusal to acknowledge that unanswered prayers are the norm and for its unfathomable premise: The law of attraction thrives as an independent force. Please email Babblingbooks at yahoo.com for a free PDF with 64 pages of excerpts. Please allow 72 hours for fulfillment.

This book is dedicated to everyone whose dreams and aspirations have been postponed indefinitely by life's inevitable detours.

An older soul with a pitiful level of evolution is like the high school thug, slumped in the back row, who tunes out the teacher. All the students are exposed to the same resources, but not everyone takes advantage of them. - Burying the Secret

Customer Review: A different way to view the law of attraction

In "Burying the Secret," Carol Rutter shares her story with us of how the Law of Attraction did not work for her. For years, she adhered to this idea, but things got worse and worse for her. When she started researching psychology, mysticism and Eastern thought, she realized that not all prayers are to be answered for a variety of reasons. She states, "The Secret" fails to acknowledge that unanswered petitions are the norm because fulfillment of the most dramatic or life-changing prayers usually conflict with our karmic standing and/or purpose in life..."

This really makes a lot of sense to me, especially after reading her book. She extensively researches the other areas mentioned above and references them so that you can further review her discussion. In her writings you discover why bad things happen to good people and you see good things happening to bad people. She really makes a lot of sense.

I enjoyed "The Secret" to the point that I read it, watched it, and went to a conference on it. Even though, I am a fan of "The Secret," I had a lot of questions in my mind; that she addresses. These questions and thoughts were lurking in the back of my mind, because I was afraid if I verbalized them, then I would be cancelling the Law of Attraction. After reading, "Burying the Secret," I feel like I have a greater understanding of how things really work.

I highly recommend "Burying the Secret" to people who are familiar or interested in "The Secret" or the Law of Attraction. It will help provide some balanced ideas to people who are on their spiritual quest. It will definitely help you understand why karmic law and/or prayer, does not always allow our prayers to be answered. Reading this book made me feel so much more positive about the path that I am on.

Customer Review: Inspiration is where you find it

I was intrigued by Carol Rutter's Burying the Secret, because I have read works on esoteric and mystical spirituality. First in studying intuition to enhance jazz improvisation, then as a means of evolving along my Christian pathway.

I had time to read this carefully as I recovered from surgery and reflected upon the circumstances in my life.

While, ostensibly, this book is an indictment of a pop psychology/light metaphysics light book, The Secret, the far-ranging work became much more to me.

I benefited from in depth treatments of the psychological aspects of parent child relations, a general treatment of Jungian psychology, particularly the collective unconscious, a short, but effective synopsis of Caroline Myss's work on recovering from wounds and intriguing sections later in the book on universal laws as she discerned them.

I also found her biographical sections on her life's lessons, how difficult it was to learn them and why "The Secret" was not effective for her to ring true and hold inspiration for me.

While I am not ready to embrace her more esoteric ideas, such as the Akashic records, definitive treatments of pre-birth activities, the fact is, I got plenty of inspiration from her words.

For example, Karmic debts and releases seems the same thing that the Bible describes as "whatever a man sows, this he will also reap". The human condition is to evolve. Whether the lessons are sent by a benevolent universe, as she believes, or all part of God's plan, as I believe, the individual must accept responsibility for their human and spiritual evolution and discerning and acting upon their purpose in life. Like Ms. Rutter and myself, people who do not want to learn life's lessons will be given repeat opportunities to learn them.

I do not believe that one book can an all-purpose spiritual and evolutionary guide, except maybe the Bible. However, one idea can inspire an individual to critically examine beliefs and behavior and make a change. There were many such ideas in this book. I received plenty of helpful inspiration and I can enthusiastically recommend this book.

I also want to say that there is a marvelous exercise in self understanding in an appendix near the end of the book.

The Secret Behind The Secret Law of Attraction

The Secret Behind The Secret Law of Attraction
Its followers believe it is the secret formula, known through the ages by various philosophers and mystics and scientists, that guarantees easy access to the success we ve always dreamed of. And so they say, enough is enough to the ignorant, blind, obstacle-ridden, hard life that millions of people are living. Live The Secret and you will bypass the unnecessary frustrations, long learning curves, and tortuous detours that seem to have humanity by the throat.

To them, The Secret is THE way. To them, it's a scientifically proven universal law that always works in every situation, every time.

Most men lead lives of quiet desperation, said Thoreau, and THE SECRET shouts passionately that this does not have to be. There is true magic afoot, there are lanterns to be lit, passions to be embraced, secret thoughts to be learned and we can discover a whole new way of living that is, simply, there for the taking!

And now there are those who see real and grave danger in this virus that is spreading through the English-speaking world...and they say, enough is enough.

The leaders of The Secret crossed the line of humanity and compassion when they began to state that people bring on their own illnesses, cause their own genocide, rape and murder.

And what about the authors of this book? Are we saying, enough is enough? Well, you will have to obtain the real secret within...we did a little bit of digging and have found out the real truth about The Secret. We ve found that all that glitters is not gold. You ll have to make your own decision.

What we can promise is that we will do our best to be fair, open-minded, kind, truthful and honest.

Our purpose is to accurately represent The Secret and then show how and why we are concerned for the poor and defenseless.

And whether you agree with us or not, you will find out some things that really do matter about the human mind and heart. And we're going to show you how the people who supposedly had The Secret through the ages, really felt about philosophies like The Secret. The geniuses that the movie and books claim had the Secret were indeed some of the greatest thinkers of the last two thousand years....but is it true that they had the Secret or believed anything like the Secret? In this book we ll show you what they REALLY wrote and how they thought....and then we ll examine feelings and possibly take issue with what people say are the dangerous aspects of The Secret.

And you ll find out what people can really do to make their life better.

Customer Review: Interesting, thought-provoking & eye-opening!

"The Secret" (By Rhonda Byrne) is one of the Amazon's bestselling books & dvds, but the most of the reader's reviews suggest that there's something wrong with the underlying premise, the Law of Attraction (LOA). For the uninitiated, here's what the LOA teaches:

You're a Magnet! Thinking good thoughts creates positive vibrational energy that enables you to attract your dream lover, wealth, success and happiness beyond your wildest dreams.

You're a Creator! You can think anything you want into existence. After all, the Law of Attraction is a scientific fact, just like the law of gravity.

You're got the Power! Forget about your higher power, the universe is at your command. Think, speak and write down your intentions... and don't forget to give thanks in advance for what's coming to you. Your "good vibrations" will be richly rewarded, but be sure to leave the outcome open-ended, so whatever happens is in your best interest.

You're a Look-the-Other-Wayer! Don't focus on anyone but yourself. That's right, look the other way when you see obesity, rape, abuse, injustice or crime. It's best to protect yourself by being in a positive vibrational energy all the time. The risk of attracting something you don't want is too great, so make it your practice to look the other way.

You're responsible! Yes, everything that happens in your life is your responsibility. Even events that seem out of your control are brought on by the magnetic energy of your thoughts. The downside is that you are also partially responsible for the Collective Social Consciousness that says, "It's not my problem." Yes, you're partially to blame for the holocaust, but don't worry about that. Let someone else worry about it who is ignorant about vibrational energy.

If you're reading this and shaking your head in unbelief, "The Secret Behind the Secret LOA" is for you. The book takes a critical look at "The Secret" as it examines it's magical thinking, something-for-nothing message, get-rich-quick appeal, and the "you're-one-product-away-from-success" upsell that's behind the bestselling book and movie.

Surprisingly, the authors admit that they'd love for the "Law of Attraction" to be possible. Contributing psychologist Kevin Hogan admits to doing a visualization exercise after discovering he had hyperkeratosis / Leukoplakia. Hogan found the surgical procedure for removing leukoplakia in a medical textbook, and memorized it. He then mentally performed the surgery on himself (by visualizing the operation in his mind) 50 times a day. When Hogan returned to the doctor, it was discovered that his hyperkeratosis was gone. It's a medical miracle that Hogan attributes to the "Attraction Factor" and priming (or using mental imagery to prepare your mind for the best possible outcome.) Hogan suggests the attraction factor is worth experimenting with, but admits it does not work all the time.

There are lots of gems in this book. Blair Warren says we think 60,000 thoughts daily, making self-monitoring (and consistent "good vibrations") just about impossible. Thinking isn't always black and white; as many things in life may feel bad (exercise, fasting, staying on a budget, etc) yet may be good for us. Dave Lakhani offers compelling reasons why "The Secret" resembles a cult, and suggests six alternative ways to get the edge. Bob Beverly shares seven keys to success and well-being.

Each of the four authors (Hogan, Warren, Lakhani, Beverly) take turns writing chapters, making this book a lot like a roundtable discussion. Together, they knock down the "house of cards" created by the Secret and it's followers. By reading this book, you too will be ready to offer an intelligent and sensitive rebuttal to "The Secret." Plus, think of all the time, money and energy you'll save by avoiding "Law of Attraction" books, cds, and seminars. That makes this book worth every penny of its cover price.

This book is recommended for anyone who had read or watched "The Secret" and wants to work through the issues surrounding the Law of Attraction. Personally, I've struggled with these issues myself, and this book really opened my eyes. Now, I realize that it's good to dream about what I want to accomplish in life, but "good vibrations" are not enough to make my dreams a reality.

Customer Review: Healthy tactics are NOT laws of science

Are state lotteries really a competition of who can visualize the hardest? I think not, but I heard this premise from a "Law of Attraction" platform seller.

Yes, positive thinking increases your likelihood of "attracting" positive results, but this is not a law of physics with replicable results. And, taking The Secret too seriously leads to rediculous assumptions. The victims of Virginia Tech did NOT "attract" their deaths. The Secret Behind The Secret discusses the ramifications of a well marketed movie taken too seriously by many. For the sake of your sanity and critical reasoning skills, if you have watched The Secret more than three times you need to buy this book.

I like The Secret. I'll watch it with friends. I'll give the movie to friends I imagine benefiting from concepts in The Secret. However, Law of Attraction zealots are like Christian Scientists who won't see a doctor to get an antibiotic when they are really sick.

If what you are thinking and doing aren't getting you the specific measurable results you expect, consider getting more scientific and taking action. Prayer may work, but simply thinking about winning doesn't make winners of all the lottery buyers.

No matter how much I visualize flying, gravity still works.

Customer Review: good overview

I recommend this book (volume II), and volumes I and III, to anyone who is starting the search for 'truth', seeking to change their life's direction, seeking ideas on what and who they are, and why things are.

The books are easy reads, and at the same time, tell you lots about your own power, the power of the mind, the power of thoughts, your beliefs and vibrations, without being too 'flowery' or 'mystical'. Those who are just starting out their exploration of the power of the mind and The Secret etc, will find this book and volumes I and II all helpful and insightful.

The author also gives example affirmations and thought patterns to use to bring about positive change in one's mental attitudes and life.

They are good books to start off with, or to read in addition to similar writers such as Joseph Murphy, Ernest Holmes and H Emilie Cady...

As Wattles says in chapter four of 'The Science of Being Great' ( volume I), 'God is wrapped about us, enfolds us and presses upon us from every side....We are immersed in mind and that mind contains all knowlege and all truth...you can make yourself what you desire to be: you can do what you wish to do; you can have what you want...'.

Volume II (page 109) he states '...The desire for advancement is a fundamental fact in the action of mind, therefore the desire for advancement is in all and through all. All things desire the advancement of every man. If a man desires any good thing in order to live his life more fully, that thing desires him also...'

Volume III (page 98) he states, '...and if you recognise disease within yourself, you prevent God from reaching you; and you form within yourself that which you recognise as existing...'.

I think volume one is the best of the three volumes, but they all contain insights.

Customer Review: The Truth

His message is enlightening and if we can live the way he described in the book, the world will be advancing faster towards perfection.

Customer Review: Wow

I thought this audio was excellent (BUT: it will only play on my computer, I tried every cd player in my house). Also, there is no chapter 5. So, I don't know if it was a verbal/written mistake, or if there is an actual chapter missing. But the info is great, it takes visualization to a whole new level. I recommend it for everyone- especially young people, so they understand early on- that you think about, manifests!

Customer Review: Excellent!

Eventhough this is a slim volume of only 95 pages, the ideas contained in this book must be carefully mulled in the mind and understood. Once these ideas are properly digested then it seems such a simple thing to do. In Chapter 8, Miss Behrend discusses why she took up mental science. She says "My initial impulse toward the study of Mental Science was an overwhelming sense of loneliness." Isnt this true for us all? This book is a gold mine. Study it and Study it again. It will surely reshape your life.

Jesus Taught It Too: The Early Roots of the Law of Attraction
When the words of Jesus are interpreted out of context they can be used to justify many contradictory concepts. However, when they are examined as a "stream of thought," we see the truth. In JESUS TAUGHT IT, TOO: THE EARLY ROOTS OF THE LAW OF ATTRACTION, Philip Harris examines over seventy quotes from the Master and shows that, contrary to recent claims and "revelations," the Law of Attraction has not been a secret at all. Instead, it has has been there for all to see for over two thousand years. Discover the truth. Read JESUS TAUGHT IT TOO and return to the love, prosperity, and power that Jesus himself promised.

Customer Review: Jesus Taught it too

Excellent Book!!! it was a true awakenings for me. Excellent way of explaining the law of attraction! I really enjoyed reading this book.

Customer Review: Beautiful

This review was sent to me by a Ahmed Jamal who lives in Jordan. I thought I would share it with you. "Jesus Taught It, Too is truly a beautiful book - and I rarely use the word beautiful when it comes to books! I just couldn't put it down - the combination of the message of Jesus along with Philip Harris' way of putting it in written prose is really like music to the soul. You'll just want to read it again and again."
